POETRY WORKSHOP WITH MARILYN KALLET
“WRITING WITH THE MISHPUCHA”
Dr. Kallet is the Poet Laureate of Knoxville and Professor Emeritus of English at the University of Tennessee from which she recently retired. Her poetry and writing have appeared in numerous publications, including her own, and she has led many poetry workshops here and abroad. This workshop will explore writing and the Jewish identity, offering several examples from her own work, as well as offering an opportunity for participants to create their own poetry. This workshop is open to all and is free of charge.
