Noon - 3 p.m. -KNOSHVILLE Kosher Deli Event - AJCC Gym

If you’ve ever enjoyed an old fashioned, “overstuffed” deli sandwich from New York City, you’ll be excited to find these delicious sandwiches in Knoxville for one day only!  And if you haven't had one, you are in for a treat!

Our KNOSHVILLE Kosher Deli event features“imported” kosher corned beef, pastrami, roasted turkey, and salami straight from New York City. Vegetarians can enjoy local chef Marilyn Burnett’s delicious veggie “chopped liver.”  We'll have overstuffed sandwiches and a junior version. And what's a deli sandwich without kosher pickles, cole slaw, sides, and beverages? The price range is $10-$20. Cash or credit cards will be accepted at this fund raiser.

As a bonus, the Heska Amuna Sisterhood will host a Arts and Crafts Fair upstairs at the AJCC on Sunday, September 18, from noon-3:00 p.m. Sale items will include jewelry, fabric arts, wood works, pottery, watercolors, prints, metal arts, photography, woven and dyed ponchos, scarves, and various crafts. Proceeds will benefit Heska Amuna Religious School and the Knoxville Jewish Alliance.
