Wednesday, April 29, 2015: Senior Science by Dr. Al Hazari
Dr. Al Hazari is a lecturer in the University of Tennessee’s Department of Chemistry and the Director of Undergraduate Laboratories. For much of the last decade, Hazari's quest to enhance science appreciation has included a regular schedule of public outreach activities, ranging from classroom visits and teacher training workshops to special programs for teenage girls, Scouts, underprivileged children and senior citizens. He lives by a simple motto that is also the basis of his educational philosophy: "Science is for students ages 2 to 102."

The luncheon begins at noon and the program begins at 12:45. Lunch is $8. There is no cost for attending the program alone. Transportation is available upon request—please have your ride requests in by the Monday morning before the program.
