Tuesday, May 12: Rhythm Band with Rise Tucker

Let's strike up the band!

Do you like music?  Do you like people? If you answered yes to those questions, then rhythm band may be for you!

Rhythm band is an upbeat musical experience that mixes fun and entertainment through performing music as members of a band.  Using rhythm instruments (tambourines, bells, maracas, rythm sticks, etc.), participants accompany recordings of specially selected songs with simple rhythmic patterns.  If you've ever wanted to play in a band, here's your chance!  No prior band or musical experience is necessary.

Program location: Sherrill Hills Retirement Community, 271 Moss Grove Blvd. Knoxville, TN 37922
